Northern Cali raised with a conscious spin, Matthew Balling's music reflects his Sacramento Valley, Bay roots, and Foothill upbringings. Story telling with a strong message, organic lyricism from the heart is what you'll find in his music. Matthew was raised by his mother who is a painter. Matthew took up painting, and does that on the side. Painting is something that has helped him in graphic design, making his own clothes, and editing his music video's. Matthew spends a lot of his time on the engineering side, recording and mixing other artist's music as he runs two studio's. One of his studio's offers recording time and mixing lessons for teen's and young adults in the community, coming out of juvenile hall, also serving kids in group homes and foster care. The studio is called the i 4 C music program (Influencers 4 Change - Collectively Cultivating Change through Consistent relationship building).
The Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus (SGMC) is one of the oldest and largest LGBTQ+ performing arts organizations in the Sacramento region. The chorus was founded in 1984 as a singing group that aimed to foster a sense of community and support gay men in the Sacramento area. SGMC now consists of 110 singers from diverse backgrounds, united by a love of music and a commitment to promoting social justice, equality, and LGBTQ+ rights through the power of music.
Q-Rated is a Ballroom and Latin Dance Company that specializes in teaching dance to the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Q-rated is home to the Female World Champions in Rhythm and 9-Dance as well as two separate formation teams, Fierce Femmes and Q it Up, who have continually placed in the top 3 at various competitions since 2014. Q-Rated believes dance is for everyone no matter what experience you have. Whether you feel you have two left feet or want to take your dancing to the next level, we have group classes or private lessons to fit your needs. We also offer choreography for weddings, flash mobs, birthday parties, and more.
Bomba Fried Rice is a diverse ensemble from people all around the world and the community of Davis. Recognized as a prominent local and unique music ensemble, they play Latin genres ranging from Salsa, Rock, Reggae, Spoken Word, Cumbia, Mambo, and Ska, merging cultures and styles of music. The band began in 2013 mainly composed of students, mostly immigrants and peoples of color, to promote art for the diverse Latin(x) community. They invite members from all over the world, bringing down cultural walls by the virtue of dance and feeding the local communities with music, activism, and joy. In, 2015 Bomba Fried Rice won a SAMMIE (Sacramento Music Award) for Best World Music Ensemble.

Total Recall is a Sacramento-based 90’s and 2000’s rock cover band with a passion for bringing the best of Alternative, Pop Punk, and Rock to the stage. Since their formation in August 2012, the band has performed nearly 400 shows, winning over audiences with their energetic renditions of hits from bands like Blink 182, Green Day, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Jimmy Eat World and many more.
